Narrated by Blair Linne—spoken word artist, actress, and Bible teacher—the series follows the journey of the Ark of the Covenant out of Egypt into Canaan. Cast

Blair Linne is a Christian spoken word artist, actress, and Bible teacher. Blair is recognized as one of the originators of the Christian spoken word genre. Blair has written poetry for Sprite, Neutrogena, NBC, and the Gospel Coalition. She has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, on ABC’s Nightline, popular Christian radio show Revive Our Hearts, and several Christian Hip Hop albums. She has appeared in numerous theater productions, commercials and television shows including Days of Our Lives, Alias, Malcolm in the Middle, Boston Public, The Parkers and American Dreams, as well as her own Saturday morning show, SK8 (Skate) on NBC. Blair lives in Philadelphia with her husband Shai Linne and their three children Sage, Maya, and Ezra; she serves in discipling women at Risen Christ Fellowship, where her husband is one of the founding pastors.

Award-winning filmmaker, Igal Hecht, has been involved in the production of over fifty documentary films and over twenty television series. Igal’s projects have been screened nationally and internationally on Netflix, BBC, Documentary Channel, CBC, YES-TV (Canada), HBO Europe, and many others.


Dr. Chris McKinny, Writer and Producer

Chris is an active archaeologist and biblical scholar who excavates in Israel and publishes extensively on the history, geography, and archaeology of Ancient Israel. He is a research fellow, writer, and producer at Gesher Media and served as the writer and producer on In Those Days: the Ark Chronicles and Quest for the Throne of God and co-produces Behind the Bible.


Rebecca Pettit, Producer

Rebecca is a writer and producer at Gesher Media. Her award-winning films are featured online via streaming services like Amazon Prime and YouTube and television outlets like the History Channel, National Geographic, and Discovery Channels. She currently produces Behind the Bible, Gesher Media’s social media wing. She also is pursuing a Ph.D. and has taught for many years as a lecturer in the lands of the Bible.

Founded by Dr. Roy B. Brown, creator of Accordance Bible Software, and Douglas A. Johnson, Gesher Media explores the historical, archaeological, and cultural background of the Bible through film, photography, and books.
